At last – a trolley for steps and rough ground

Reinventing the wheel might be a big claim but HandiWorld Ltd has managed it with its all-terrain off-road trolley, the HandiMoova.

Designed and developed in the UK, the HandiMoova uses patented technology to help you shift loads of up to 60kg over rough terrain including grass, sand and gravel and up and down stairs with ease.

My garden is terraced, with narrow gravel paths, so I can’t use a wheelbarrow and it’s been an absolute Godsend to use.

It’s light (5kg) and easy to store. The additional HandiSac, which has a capacity of 190 litres, has transformed taking hedge cuttings up to the tip. It’s like a bottomless pit with a drawstring top. It attaches to the trolley with long Velcro straps.

I must admit, I have tried to climb into it just to see if I could – I can, so that gives you some idea of its strength and size.

The key to the trolley is the patented Camba Technology, designed over three years by London-based Therefore Product Design. Hemi-spherical shaped wheels are mounted on separate, inclined floating axles, that constantly optimizes the rolling performance and footprint of each wheel.

The HandiMoova has an aluminium frame and marine grade stainless steel axles. Its tyres are puncture proof and it has a telescopic handle and folding load plate and wheels. Two strong bungees with secure awkwardly-shaped loads to the trolley.

The RRP of the HandiMoova is £100 (including HandiBungees) and comes with a two-year guarantee. The HandiSac costs £20 and you can get all three on offer at the moment for £115, use promo code HM1 at the checkout. For more details, visit www.handiworld.com.
