Unique prize made from reclaimed wood
Fancy winning this one-of-a-kind bird box made from ethically sourced 100 per cent reclaimed wood? Well, you can in this week’s competition, thanks to the lovely Phil Thompson from WhisperLeaf Workshop!
Phil, from Leeds, makes a host of lovely (and handy) items, including coat racks, candle holders, potting tables, all sorts of boxes and you can ask him to make anything you like.
His ethos is: “I’ve been inspired by the many artisans, particularly in Leeds. One day I found a wood pallet someone had left by the roadside… and the rest is history!”
Now the bird box – it’s 36cm wide x 32cm high x 10cm deep, made of reclaimed pallet wood and finished with Danish oil and a clear satin varnish finish, so it’s tough as well as beautiful and retails at £18.
If you’d like to be in with a chance of winning, simply RT #WhisperLeaf on Twitter, or share the post on the MandyCanUDigIt Facebook page. Competition closes midnight on Sunday, June 25. UK entries only. The winner will be pulled out of my hat on Monday, June 26.
