Mouthwatering vase fillers from Woolmans

Three new and exclusive dahlia collections for 2019 has been unveiled by Woolmans with names to make you drool!

Watch out for Moroccan Spice, Marshmallow and Chocolate Orange Collections and thankfully, they’re all calorie free.

The varieties have been selected and graded from the company’s trials garden in Suffolk, where more than 100 varieties were grown last summer.

Famous for growing chrysanthemums for more than a century, the company is now an established supplier of dahlia tubers.

Dahlia sales up

Woolmans’ Tom Stimpson said: “Sales for our dahlia collections are up by nearly 20 per cent so far this season, which is really encouraging.

“Our customers are loving the collections we put together and appreciate the fact that only the best varieties with the most flowers make it into the range.”

As well as growing varieties in their own trials garden, the Woolmans team regularly visit the Dutch trial fields in late summer and autumn.

Tom said: “It’s really important for us to visit our Dutch growers and see first-hand what new varieties are in the pipeline.
