Until 3 March, The Great Brick Safari, Wisley: Search for more than 40 animals and plants in the garden and the temperate and tropical zones of The Glasshouse. Join a LEGO brick making workshop in the Glasshouse Gallery, 10am-4.30pm.
Until 3 March, Embroidering Harlow Carr – Winter: Enjoy an embroidery depiction of the Winter Walk with its fiery red Cornus stems and striking silver birch trees produced by the Richmond & Leyburn branch of the Embroiderers’ Guild.
Until 4 March, Hyde Hall, Harlow Carr, Rosemoor, Wisley: Using illustrations from rare books in the RHS Lindley Library, this display looks at the theories people had in the past about the healing powers of some of our favourite garden plants.

2-3 March, Spring Antiques Fair, Rosemoor: Stalls from across the South West and beyond, selling antiques and collectables.
2-31 March, Peter Newell Acrylic Marine Scenes Exhibition, Rosemoor: Discover a beautiful selection of varied marine scenes by Peter Newell at the RHS Garden Rosemoor Acrylic Marine Scenes Exhibition.
6 March, Little Acorns, Hyde Hall: Pre-school gardening and craft club aiming to engage children with the natural world.
9-17 March, Science Week at Wisley: Showcasing the research of the RHS, along with hands-on activities, workshops and talks.
Spring Flower Festival
16-17 March, Rosemoor Spring Flower Festival: With a focus on camellias, early magnolias and rhododendrons, in addition to the RHS Early Camellia competition, the show will also include classes on ornamental shrubs and a Rosemoor Daffodil and RHS Hyacinth competition. The competitions are free to enter and open to anyone. Entry forms are available from email@example.com or to download from the RHS website.

22-24 March, Spring Plant Fair, Wisley: Meet the growers and choose quality plants from more than 30 specialist nurseries.
23 March, The South West Alpine Garden Society Show, Rosemoor: Highlighting some of the great alpine plant nurseries who can provide helpful advice on growing these specialist plants. Viewing takes place from 11am-4pm. Plant sales open at 10am.
23-24 March, Bonsai Show and Repotting Service, Wisley: Competition classes and displays, along with advice and demonstrations on growing them from seed. There will be plants and bonsai equipment for sale. The Plant Centre will host the repotting, styling and advice service from noon, starting from £5 per tree.
30 March, Cyclamen Society Spring Show, Wisley: Species on display are likely to include Cyclamen repandum, C. rhodium, C. persicum, C. pseudibericum, C. libanoticum and more. There will be publications, seed and plant sales, and experts will be on hand from 10am-4pm.

31 March, Mother’s Day, Harlow Carr: Take in the spectacular spring bulb displays and perhaps a coffee and cake at Bettys Café Tea Rooms next door.
31 March, World of Alpines Show, Wisley: Enjoy Erythronium, Fritillaria, Narcissus and Primula, and a photographic showcase of alpines from around the world.
