Celebrate the school summer holidays!

The four RHS Gardens have their summer events schedule in full swing, with activities to suit all the family (even the non-gardeners)!

Late Evening Openings, dates vary, all gardens
The gardens stay open late on selected evenings with live music, theatre and cinema. For more information visit www.rhs.org.uk/gardens/whats-on-at-rhs-gardens.

August 3-4: Tender & Hardy Fern Show, Wisley
Join the British Pteridological Society – enjoy displays of unusual tender and garden ferns, a collection of British native ferns, aquatic ferns and Polypodium cultivars.

August 3-4: Agapanthus Weekend, Rosemoor
With Bowden Nursery. Also featuring hostas and ferns with displays and drop-in advice.

Orchid experts

August 3-4: Meet the Experts – Orchids, Harlow Carr
Join Harrogate Orchid society and experience orchid displays, demonstrations and tips on growing at home.

August 3-4: Vintage and Classic Weekend, Rosemoor
A display of vehicles on the Arboretum Lawn and an Antiques Fair.

August 10-11: Meet the Experts – Carnivorous Plants, Harlow Carr
A weekend of displays and advice from the carnivorous plant experts. Enjoy talks and demonstrations.

August 16-18: Rosemoor Flower Show
Nurseries, garden sundries, floral displays, trade stands, alfresco catering, specialist talks, RHS advice and live music. Supported by Atkins Ferrie Wealth Management.

Enjoy sculpture trail

August 17–September 22: Surrey Sculpture Society Trail, Wisley
More than 100 inspirational sculptures by some of the South East’s finest, established and emerging artists. All sculptures are available to buy.

August 18: Classic Car Day, Hyde Hall
A great day out for car enthusiasts, with a range of classic cars.

August 23-26: Contemporary Craft and Design Fair, Hyde Hall
Original and affordable designs by craftspeople and artists. Includes a food village and live music.

August 31–September 1: Artisan Food Fair, Rosemoor
Buy tasty food from some of the UK’s top artisan food producers.
