A different look every day with mam’s innovative brainwave!

I absolutely love this idea – I only wish they were in my size! I had a good chat with founder and North-East mam Amanda Wooldridge at Glee (Garden, Leisure, Equipment Exhibition) at Birmingham’s NEC, showcasing the best new products for 2020.

Squelch wellies and socksAmanda’s children love their wellies but got bored with the same pair all year round. She decided on a different approach and Squelch was born – transparent wellies and bright socks for a different look every day!

The socks are cotton rich, thick and cosy, with great patterns – proper welly boot/ski socks, teamed with a see-through boot with a solid tread.

Squelch is an ethical manufacturer and is environmentally conscious, with boots arriving in a 100 per cent cotton drawstring bag instead of the wasteful shoe box.

We encourage our customers to recycle after use, hand down, give to charity or use as planters.

Charity donations

Ten per cent of net profit from online sales goes to the Trussell Trust charity, which has a network of food banks across the UK.

Another ten per cent of net profit from online sales made go towards your school’s PTA, providing valuable funding – just add your school’s name in the “Special Instructions for the Seller” box which is found in the checkout cart.

If you order a pair of Squelch Boots and three socks of your choice, that’s the Squelch Package, which costs £24, saving £2.52.

Wellies on their own cost £16, sizes 26-30 (approx ages 3-6 but smaller and bigger sizes will be available in the future.) Socks cost £3.50 per pair.

The Squelch Colouring Package includes one colouring sock, six semi-permanent washable fabric pens (purple, red, pink, green, yellow and orange) and a small Squelch bag.
