Trellis, arches, shelving, the Aqua Tower and wooden barrel kits

VegTrug is always a stopping point for me at Glee (Garden, Leisure, Equipment Exhibition). Starting out with their trademark wooden waist-height raised bed, the business has diversified into many innovative products. Here is what caught my eye this year…

New for 2020 is the Windsor Aqua Tower, a basket on a metal stand or spike at different heights, both with a built-in reservoir and coir liner. The Windsor Aqua Tower Basket Stand small costs £19.99, large £24.99 and the basket on a spike retails at £29.99.

Also making its first appearance is the Slimline Windsor trellis range, which comes in a four-piece slot together kit (Flat, £149.99). My favourite was the Slimline Arch Half (£69.99), which can be fitted to a wall over a narrow path and has a footplate to hold it steady. Also new is the stunning Osaka Garden Arch, £149.99.

Finally, there are the easily assembled FSC wooden barrel kits, making transportation easy without compromising on quality or style, as they come in six fashionable colours and two sizes, both with a plastic base to prevent rotting and allowing good drainage. Small kits, 37cm diameter cost £24.99, medium at 46cm cost £29.99.
