Making the most of even a rotten apple tree
Whether you call it apple puree or apple sauce, it’s an easy way to process a glut of small apples that aren’t much good for eating raw. Have you got a hopeless apple tree in your garden? One that still fruits, but the apples are tiny, bitter or covered with scab or other ailments?
