Productive, space-saving and pretty
When you have a tiny garden, you must choose multi-purpose plants, and this yellow-leaved raspberry does just that – pretty and edible.
You can’t afford to have crops that take up lots of room and look drab if you’re growing ornamentals and edibles together. Here’s more on growing raspberries.
Luckily, this raspberry, Groovy, widely available from growers across the UK, is just that. It’s a primocane variety (meaning it produces fruit on the current season’s growth). It’s ideal for growing in containers and is pretty enough for the patio.

Yellow-leaved raspberry Groovy details

- Fruit borne on new canes

Dobies of Devon initially offered this raspberry, but during an update to this post (June 2022), they no longer stock it. To buy raspberry Groovy, it is now widely available, including www.rhsplants.co.uk.
