The focus of any Chelsea Flower Show is always Main Avenue’s large show gardens, where designers can really let their imaginations run away with them. Here are the results of RHS Chelsea 2019: Show Gardens. While you may think there’s little of use to ordinary gardeners, look carefully at colour and planting combinations for great inspiration for your home.
M&G Investments Garden – BEST IN SHOW, GOLD
Andy Sturgeon draws inspiration from nature’s power to regenerate. The woodland landscape features young trees, ferns and jewel-like flowers, interspersed with stone platforms and huge burnt timber sculptures.

Sponsored by The Forestry Commission, among others, Sarah Eberle celebrates 100 years of forestry and looks ahead to the biggest challenges facing our forests in the future.

This one’s ruffled a few feathers – how dare IKEA be allowed into the hallowed Chelsea sanctum! Good on them, and their message.

Andrew Duff celebrates the environmental benefits of trees within an urban space, featuring biodiverse trees and greenery known to remove pollutants from the atmosphere.
