How will my greenhouse tomatoes do with ecofective Organic Seaweed?
This season, I’m trying out the new ecofective Organic Seaweed feed on my greenhouse tomatoes to see how it performs.
It’s a highly concentrated liquid and I’m using it in the greenhouse as it can smell strongly. This is due to the active bacteria in the formula. My family aren’t too keen on me using pungent smells in the conservatory, which opens onto the kitchen!
Each 1.5-litre bottle of ecofective Organic Seaweed makes up to 225 litres or 50 watering cans’ worth. Produced from the best 100 per cent cold-pressed organic seaweed sources, it provides all plant types with an extra tonic boost.
Use it along with your regular fertiliser without overfeeding problems. New ecofective Organic Seaweed is rich in carbohydrates and helps to aerate the soil. Use it as a foliar application, too. Ideal for all plant types, indoors and out. Don’t apply when temperatures reach over 30°C or in direct sunlight. Read more about another seaweed superfood for plants.
How to use ecofective Organic Seaweed
Mix 30ml of feed with 4.5 litres of water in a watering can. Use a fine rose to apply to the base of the plants. This amount will treat up to eight potted plants.
Handy hint – water the plants first, wait 20 minutes and then apply the seaweed mix. This helps the plants absorb the nutrients and will not leach away. Apply weekly during the growing season.
