A huge show and the emphasis on gardening for the less able, July 4-9
Read more about the 2023 show. The show certainly delivered on the inclusive gardening theme. There were plenty of places to sit and rest for those (including me) who needed it and the site itself is spectacular.
Spots to make a beeline for are the show gardens, Sanctuary Area, and two of the Feature Gardens, the River Cottage Market Garden and the RHS Rose Tea Garden to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.
Hampton Court Palace 2022 Gardens
Ditton Avenue has become the Sanctuary Area, an immersive woodland featuring the Sanctuary Yurt and an acoustic music stage. The RHS Forest Bathing Garden offers another spot for peace and quiet – if you’re lucky enough to be there at a quiet time as we weren’t!
The RHS Allotment practical arena features more than 10 community allotments, where you can listen to talks and advice on growing your own. Check out the Arthritis Action garden, very inspirational.
Floral Marquee, Plant Village and Get Growing Stage
I always head to The Floral Marquees at flower shows and Hampton Court 2022 was no different. With more than 60 exhibitors and The Plant Village featuring 20 nurseries selling seasonal plants, there are plenty of opportunities to buy.
