Year of the very colourful carrot!
High on the list of must-haves every season are the latest colourful vegetables and carrots from the seed catalogues, packed with vitamins and minerals.
It was Fleuroselect’s Year of the Carrot in 2019 and true to form, seed companies are highlighting their ranges of new and exclusive varieties. Here are four new ones from Mr Fothergill’s (including one exclusive) plus three dwarf French beans and rather vivid kale.

This new and exclusive dwarf bean is a remarkably decorative heritage variety with pink flowers and pink-tinged pods.

For high yields of extra fine green pods.

Kale Candy Floss
Large leaves envelop a central heart in an eye-catching pink colour. Its leaves are full of flavour and will retain their colour when cooked. It is a vibrant variety that can be grown for both ornamental and edible purposes.
