‘Business as usual’ says Westland managing director
Westland Horticulture has bought out the Gardman Group, which has gone into administration.
The buy-out has taken Gardman, one of the leading horticultural businesses in the UK, immediately taken out of administration. The purchase includes all trading assets, stock, infrastructure and Gardman brands, which include Cole and Bright, Grow It, Moulton Mill and Gardman Wild Bird Care.
Top of the list will be to work with customers to provide as much continuity as possible and ensure a smooth transition over the coming weeks. The growth of wildlife care, the increased interest in the outdoor space and the chance to re-energise propagation and growth were factors in buying the business.
